Position Summary
Oversee the assembly of metal automotive components in a small operations center. Provide support to the production area to ensure quality automotive parts are assembled for OEM customers and generally oversee day to day attendance, and adherence to company policy. Candidates must be able to clearly articulate what they have accomplished in meeting with the
Corporate staff.

Technical Skills:
Prefer a minimum of an Associate degree or completion of a technical certificate or experience specific to metal fabrication or metal stamping of automotive parts. Robotics experience would be a definite plus.
3 years supervision experience working in a manufacturing environment in the automotive components industry
Previous experience leading and supervising plant employees is required
Knowledge of TS16949 quality principles and methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and motivational skills
Must have various computer skills for reporting and operations planning requirements.

Position has responsibilities for production employees and will assist in the planning for daily work schedules. Work closely with vendors, company representatives and OEM customers to stay abreast of any changes that might be required on parts scheduled for release.

Candidates must be US Citizen or currently holding a visa that does not require sponsorship.

A stable work history is essential.

Job RequirementsH.S./GED with an Associates Degree and/or Technical Certificate preferred. Must have metal stamping or metal fabrication, with some welding experience to qualify
