Administrative Manager


Nashville Public Television seeks an Administrative Manager to support operations by planning, organizing and implementing administrative operations and services. The ideal candidate must be an adept multitasker and have strong organizational skills. Duties include managing the customer service staff, performing payroll and human resource related duties, assisting with grant reporting, managing tenant relations, and managing the operational budget and negotiations with vendors. This position provides support to senior management, including the President & CEO, and working closely with the CEO, is the liaison to the Board of Directors. The Administrative Manager will ensure compliance with the FCC, EEO and other government and industry regulations.




Job RequirementsQualifications: Bachelorís degree; a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience including supervisory experience; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills including establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Ability to plan, organize and integrate priorities and deadlines independently; evaluate and make recommendations for continuous efficiency and operational budget savings. Accuracy, flexibility, dependability and discretion required in working with confidential information. Excellent working knowledge of standard computer software, including Word and Excel.
