Job Description:
a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer with a broad knowledge base and a can-do attitude. The position requires doing great work in a results-driven, team-based environment. Essential Functions: • Handle all aspects of technical systems and equipment maintenance within station. • Directly handle maintenance of Newsroom computer system, Nonlinear Editing Systems and video transcoding systems. • Work on installation, maintenance and component level repair of analog and digital SD and HD Broadcast and production equipment, including multichannel automation. • Maintain ENG and Satellite Vehicles and remote camera and newsgathering sites. • Organize and set up all technical elements of remote broadcasts. • Monitor and adjust video and audio signals. • Ensure accurate and reliable reception of microwave and satellite feeds. • Operate and maintain microwave transmitters. • Maintain up to date documentation of systems and equipment. • Other duties assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:
• Extensive working knowledge of the technical operation of a television station including the operation of: nonlinear editing equipment, graphics equipment, audio consoles, studio cameras, switchers and remote equipment and HD digital infrastructure including multichannel automation and server technology.
