Job Description:
Direct Support Professionals are responsible for operation of the living units/households of individuals within the programs service delivery system. The Direct Support Professional will work, in conjunction with the Site Supervisor, and all professional staff, in the comprehensive delivery of services to the individuals.
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for direct supervision of the Individuals we serve, assisting in the development and implementation of individualized support plans, providing support and assistance to Site Supervisors during times of crisis.
The successful candidte will be able to engage Individuals in their homes and in the community with activities that are personalized to the Individual.
Job Requirements:
This position carries with it the ability to exercise good judgement, decision making skills and the ability to write. This position also requires some degree of professionalism.
