Job Description:
Objective: This position involves leading custom web development throughout the entire project life cycle. Candidate should be capable of full cycle project leadership including application architecture, design input, site layout/user interface, database design/programming, and development. Upon meeting with clients and assessing their needs, web designers help create and maintain the product. The right individual for this role will be a motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work. Primary Job Tasks and Responsibilities: • Act as a strategic resource for the company to drive consistency with regard to how NSG delivers Web Development/SEO services while maximizing efficiencies and profitability • Gather requirements and project specifications for placement and layout of web site pages given client provided content • Create site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices • Perform routine maintenance of existing sites and applications as needed • Lead planning and implementation of web projects – this includes defining project scope, goals and deliverables while communicating project status and deliverables with managers and clients • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellence while maximizing efficiency, execution, and profitability • Proactively audit existing client websites as well as prospects from a strategic standpoint to make recommendations for improvements and generate revenue Requirements: Key Competencies: • 2+ years of rapid web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.Net, C#, and T-SQL preferred • Direct work experience in Web Development/SEO with knowledge of tools and techniques • Well versed in different computer languages and applications that are required in website designing and development such as HTML, XML, Java, C++, C#, Perl, WordPress, VBScript, PHP, JavaScript, DOM, CSS, Visual Basic .NET, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc. • Candidates should have proven .NET experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming. • A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures. • Understand the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO • Critical thinking and problem solving skills • Passion for Graphic Design and Artistic aptitude.
