Job Description:
Develop electrical expertise in maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and operating melt extrusion equipment, Calender Systems, Ring Rollers, HVAC Systems, and Slitters. Ensure that equipment is maintained in proper working order and that all safety requirements are met. Maintain and troubleshoot electrical operations Lead upgrades / additions to pilot facilities Assisting in the execution of trial plans. Assist in the start up and maintenance of equipment. Operate pilot line equipment during trials. Assist in the R&D analytical lab. Assist in technology transfer and training. AS Technology or equivalent degree, or 5 years equivalent experience. Demonstrated maintenance skills: Basic understanding of power and control systems. Advanced PLC troubleshooting skills with programming abilities. Working knowledge of AC and DC drives. Knowledgeable in Allen Bradley, Seimens, and Reliance drives. Ability to read and understand wiring, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Intermediate computer skills. Microsoft Word and Excel are desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience with spunbond process is desirable.
