Job DescriptionThe City of Gallatin will be testing eligible police officer applicants on July 24th & 25th. Testing for police officer candidates is generally scheduled twice a year and does not necessarily indicate available openings. The eligibility list created as a result of this test may be considered active for a period of six months.
Persons wishing to test must apply on-line at www.gallatinonthemove.com under Employment at the top of the webpage and follow the instructions. Applicants may also come to City Hall at 132 W. Main Street and utilize the Personnel/HR Department computers to apply. All completed applications must be received no later than July 10, 2015.

Job RequirementsEligible applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, high school graduate/GED, be a U.S. citizen, have no felony convictions and be able to successfully pass psychological, physical, and polygraph exams as well as a drug screen.
