Job Description:
As an entry level technical support representative, you will be responsible for answering Tier 1 trouble tickets submitted by our clients through our support interface. In addition to ticket research/resolution you will also perform proactive maintenance on workstations and various networked components by applying updates, monitoring network status and identifying potential issues and recommending changes. You will also have the opportunity to assist our senior engineers on additional projects such as creating virtual environments, server and network administration and communication systems. Location: Brentwood, TN – Mt. Juliet, TN Schedule: M-F 8:00a-4:30p with flexibility based on academic schedule Compensation: Hourly / DOE Manages Others: No Typical Duties: -- Answer support tickets submitted by clients in a timely and efficient manner. This will generally be handled remotely but may require some travel to client locations. -- Identify and follow proper escalation procedures for critical issues. -- Monitor network performance and alerts. -- Replace and/or repair hardware. -- Apply software updates and patches. -- Assist senior level engineers with implementation projects as needed.
