Job DescriptionThe Subpoena Levies and Garnishments Group ("SLG") is made up of two groups which perform two primary functions:
-The Subpoena Group who respond to almost every third-party subpoena issued to the Firm (some regulatory subpoenas are referred to the Regulatory Group)
-The Levies and Garnishments Group who manage the Firm's involvement in third-party legal matters such as account garnishments and levies, pledge agreements, and similar proceedings most of which are court ordered.
-Respond to third-party subpoenas issued to the Firm (some regulatory subpoenas are referred to the Regulatory Group) by timely identifying and producing the appropriate records.
-Manage the Firm's involvement in third-party legal matters such as account garnishments and levies, pledge agreements, and similar proceedings most of which are court ordered.
Job RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
-Very strong organization skills and must be able to meet tight deadlines
-Good writing and verbal communication skills including ability to speak with attorneys representing external parties
-Ability to multi-task
-More than two years work experience in Operations, Compliance or Legal
-Financial Services experience preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree
