Job DescriptionThe primary responsibilities as the Customer Service Representative will be frontline assistance to all applicants and members who contact the Service Center to apply and recertify for the TennCare Programs. Assisting members with reporting changes to their cases, filing appeals of eligibility denials and terminations, as well as responding to general member inquiries.

Member Representative Job Specifications:

• Team player with interpersonal communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a call center environment required.
• Strong PC proficiency (i.e., working with multiple computer systems) required.
• Associate’s Degree in social or behavioral sciences or related field preferred; High School Diploma required.
• Experience with health insurance/Medicaid preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
• Bi-lingual language skills (i.e., Spanish) a plus.

Service Center hours of operation: Monday – Saturday; 7am – 7pm.
