Job DescriptionThe Accounting Assistant will be responsible for setting up advertising campaigns – tracking advertising campaign expenses – recording accounts payable and accounts receivable activity – processing ( collecting information, follow up and sometimes fighting ) charge backs - formatting credit card deposits in excel so that they can be uploaded into system for reconciling purposes - processing Sales & Use Tax on a monthly basis in a timely and efficient manner – ordering office supplies – opening and disbursing of daily mail and other duties as necessary.
Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in accounts payable and receivable, a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and a willingness to learn new things. The candidate should enjoy a very casual office environment and not be disturbed by sharing the office with the company mascots and pets.
A technical background would be a plus.
