Judicial Process

*NOTE: Student appeals must be filed within 10 working days of receiving an decision and VSCC staff must respond within 10 working days of receiving any complaint and/or appeal.


*Note: Student appeals must be filed within 10 working days of receiving any decision and VSCC staff must respond within 10 working days. There is always a possibility that a conflict can be resolved through the non-faculty employee's supervisor and a student would not be required to go through the entire process.


It isn't always necessary for Campus Police and/or Human Resources to assist in an investigation. However, with any complaint the Vice President for Student Services will still have 10 working days to respond to the complaint and the student will have 10 working days after receiving the decision to appeal.




Campus Police will inform the Vice President for Student Services of any investigation concerning criminal, hostile, or aggressive behavior.

*Note: If the conflict is resolved by Campus Police or the President there may be sanctions imposed.
