Bookstore Advisory Committee (an ad hoc committee formed to serve as needed)

Committee Purpose

The purpose of the Bookstore Advisory Committee is to represent the College community in ensuring quality of bookstore services.

Committee Activities

Monitor and make recommendations concerning the following:

  1. Textbook orders, price, availability
  2. Book buyback activities
  3. Supply items available
  4. Cleanliness and appearance of the facilities
  5. Hours of operation
  6. Quality of service.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to the Vice President of Business and Finance

  • One representative Financial Aid
  • One representative from Public Relations
  • One representative from the Staff Council
  • One representative from the Faculty Council
  • One Dean
  • One representative from Continuing Education
  • One Off-Campus Coordinator
  • Director of Special Adult Programs
  • Student representation: 2
  • Total membership: 10 — 13
  • At-large members: 3
