COURSE OBJECTIVE:
In Com 270 students learn the basics of audio and acoustics. This is the basic foundation upon which all audio knowledge is built. Any student preparing for a career in the music or audio fields will find this class invaluable.

VISIT THE BOOKSTORE
As a result of successful completion of this course, students will have demonstrated a knowledge of the basic principles of sound and audio acoustics relating to commercial audio production.
Students will also learn common audio terminology and standards, and gain a basic understanding of audio equipment and operating procedures.
This course is a good first step towards a career at a recording studio.
