Humanities Division
The Humanities Division of the academic program of the College offers university parallel degrees in Associate of Arts or Associate of Science in a number of disciplines. Freshman- and Sophomore-level courses are taught in Art Applied, Art Studio; Communication Business & Professional, Journalism, Radio/TV, Speech & Forensics; English; Foreign Languages; Liberal Arts; Music; Philosophy; Recording Industry Management; Theater.
Candidates seeking to instruct in the Division must possess appropriate credentials. Minimum educational/work credentials are:
- AS/AA degree program (courses designed to transfer to a Bachelors degree program) A Masters degree. Eighteen graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
- Developmental Studies Reading or Writing Bachelors degree in related area.
