What is now known as the Health Sciences Center of Emphasis was founded as the EMS Center of Excellence. Funded by a grant from the Tennessee Board of Regents, the Center has grown since it's inception and was renamed to the Health Sciences Center of Emphasis in 1998 to better describe the expanding scope of the Center.
What does the Center do?
The Health Sciences Center of Emphasis provides quality continuing education programs for the health related disciplines. We also provide continuing education programs for others who have an interest in a health related topic such as First Aid/CPR, Blood borne Pathogens, etc.
