Keith M. Bell is an Associate Professor of Geography at Volunteer State.  He received a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Memphis.  His areas of specialization include regional, historical, and cultural geography.  He is a regional coordinator for the Tennessee Geographic Alliance and conducts workshops for area K-12 teachers.  He currently teaches courses in World Regional Geography, Cultural Geography, and Physical Geography.  When possible he integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) spatial technologies into his coursework.
