Robert M Ruff (M.A. Auburn University 1965 and Ph.D. in Russian History at University of Georgia 1973) is Professor of History and Political Science. Dr. Ruff emphasizes critical thinking, the history of ideas and is especially interested in the relationship of philosophy, science and religion. He teaches World Civilization I, II, Introduction to Political Science, American Government and Politics and every four years the Presidential Election. With Nancy Blomgren, he offers the Honor’s American Literature/American History courses.
