Will I still be able to access my old voicemail?- No. As part of the project we will be installing a new voicemail system. If you need to retrieve a message from the old system, contact Kristi Johnson or Mark Dennis for assistance.
- What is my "User ID"?
- Your user ID is your phone extension.
- How do I access my voicemail?
- Voicemail can be accessed by dialing 3625 or by pressing the messages key on your phone.
- Why do my messages sound odd (example: playing back too fast or too slowly).
- While listening to a message, you can press the 4 key to slow it down and the 6 key to speed it up. If you select either option, it will stay until the next time you listen to a message.
- How do I delete a voicemail?
- To delete a message press the 3 key.
- Will my phone have caller ID?
- All of the phone models have LCD displays and caller ID will be available to everyone.
- Where do I find "cheat sheets" regarding the use of the phones?
- You can find tutorials on the use of your phone by clicking HERE. The model of your phone is printed on the upper right corner of your phone.
- How do I login to my CUPC (Cisco Unified Personal Communicator) client on my computer?
- Your user name and password are your active directory/email user id and password.
- How do I configure my CUPC client to listen to voicemail on my computer?
- After logging into
the client, click File---> Preferences----> Account.
On the account window enter your Active
Directory/email user ID and password in the Voice
Messaging box.

Go into the voicemail web page by inserting 172.20.224.20/ciscopca into your web browser. Log into the site by putting your active directory username and password into the provided spaces. Click on the Unity Assistant link. Click on “Passwords” and “Change Phone Password”. You will then be prompted to enter a new password and confirm that password. Then click “Save”.
