Parenthetical citations should be placed at the closest "natural" break in the sentence following the quotation, paraphrase, or summary; this is usually at the end of the sentence that contains the source material. If a passage contains consecutive sentences that incorporate material from a single page (or in the case of an unpaginated source, a single source), the citation may be placed at the end of the passage.
