1. Cards issued to full-time faculty and staff members will be valid for one fiscal year and may be renewed as long as the patron remains eligible for this service. Cards issued to adjunct faculty will be valid for one academic term and may be renewed as long as the patron remains eligible for this service. Cards must be renewed at the Vol State circulation desk. The lending library will not accept a card with an invalid expiration date.
2. Cards issued to students will be valid for one academic term and may be renewed as long as the student remains eligible for this service. Cards must be renewed at the Vol State circulation desk. The lending library will not accept a card with an invalid expiration date.
3. All applicants must have a valid Vol State photo I.D. and be in good standing to receive a TBR/UT Borrowers Card.
4. At a participating lending library, the borrower must present a valid TBR/UT Borrowers Card and a photo I.D. when borrowing materials. No other form of I.D. will be accepted.
5. Borrowers are responsible for the safe and timely return of materials to the lending library. All borrowed materials must be returned directly to the borrowing library, NOT the Vol State Library.
6. Borrowers are responsible for all financial obligations incurred at the lending library. Failure to receive notification does not absolve the borrower of library obligations.
7. The lending library reserves the right to cancel the privileges of borrowers who fail to follow the policies of that library.
