TALC Universal Borrower Library Application

Vol State students and employees living within the State of Tennessee may use the nearest University of Tennessee or Tennessee Board of Regents Library for resource and research access to books and periodicals. The Tennessee Academic Library Collaborative (TALC) card is needed to borrow library materials.

To request a TALC card, please complete the following form. Incomplete forms delay processing. TALC application data must match data on file at Vol State.

* Represents fields that must be entered to submit this form.		About the TALC card: If you live beyond 30 miles from the Vol State Gallatin campus, the TALC card will be mailed to you. If you live closer or attend classes on the Gallatin campus, request your TALC library card at the library's circulation desk. Please bring your Vol State ID or another current photo ID with you. Show the TALC borrower's card and a current photo ID at the participating UT/TBR library circulation desk. This service is provided only to currently enrolled Vol State students and employees. TALC cards are valid for one semester.
