What is the Math and Science Lab?

The Math and Science Lab is a place where you can go to get tutorial assistance for many of the math and science classes at Vol State. We have a staff of trained tutors selected from among the student body, along with graduates and almost graduates. We also have video and computer tutorials for selected classes. The bulk of our duties is assisting those who have come to a stalemate while working homework problems. And get this: We can help you with word problems. So, if math has gotten you down, cheer up and see us. You can find us in room W123 of the Warf building on the main campus in Gallatin, Tennessee. Just remember to sign in and leave your food and beverages in the hall.
