Where to Find a Book

Use information from its VSCC record to find a book.

Location
Check here to find which floor of the Thigpen Library to go to find the book.

Call Number
Write down the call number. It acts as the "address" of an item in the library.

Status
The status line will tell you whether a book is checked-out, lost, or available.

  • Use one of the guide cards on the shelves that show the call number range for each shelf, or
  • Ask at a Reference Desk
