I'm Ron Timberlake, Assistant Professor in the Health and Physical Education Department within the Social Science Division
One of my students used this example to describe me, Mr. Timberlake was concerned and helpful regarding my educational goals and my fulfilling them. I will work with you to make this statement true for you! I'm very proud of the freedoms we have in this Country. One of these special freedoms is the openness we have to pursue our education. I hope to be helpful in your earnest pursuit of educational fulfillment, not only at Volunteer State, but beyond. I want you to enjoy your educational experience and to stretch your imagination of possibilities that exist for you! I consider myself a link in the chain that constitutes your life. What an awesome responsibility this is! How can I help you achieve your goals? I want you to say upon completion of my class...this has really helped me and prepared me for life. My high school coach was very instrumental in my developmental stage of education and I would like to convey these lessons learned to you. You've heard the phrase you get out of something what you put in it...I want you to get the best out of the courses I teach. My teaching includes varied personal experiences, it has to, I've had many as you'll certainly hear. I look forward to having you in my classes, in my office for advising or seeing you on campus or in the community. Tell me how I can be of assistance to you!
