Submitted on April 23, 2013 at 4:26 PM

Summer classes start soon at Volunteer State Community College at McGavock High School and registration is open now. Nine evening classes will be held at McGavock High School during the summer session. They include: Pre College Algebra, Math for Liberal Arts, Survey of American History II, College Algebra, General Psychology, Introduction to Wellness and several levels of Learning Support Math. For a complete list of classes and meeting times visit www.volstate.edu/schedule.

The McGavock location is a degree granting center for Vol State, which means students can take an entire degree program in Donelson, or take classes that will apply to other programs and degrees at the college. New students will need to apply to the college before enrolling. That can be done online at www.volstate.edu or in-person by visiting the Gallatin campus at 1480 Nashville Pike. For more information call admissions at 615-230-3688.
