Vol State Harvest Moon Soirée Friday, September 13College student debt is at an all-time high, according to the Federal Reserve, in part due to college costs, the economy and changes in financial aid. The average student will graduate with $28,000 in debt this year. People can make a difference by donating to student scholarships. The Harvest Moon Soirée is the annual dinner and show that raises money for student scholarships at Volunteer State Community College. Sumner Regional Medical Center is the 2013 Titanium Sponsor. This year the event will include a magic show by Jason Michaels Majik. The Harvest Moon Soirée will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13 at the Epic Event Centre in Gallatin. The evening will begin with cocktails and a silent auction, and continue with dinner and the entertainment. Tickets are $75 per person.
