Summer Classes at McGavock High School
Summer classes can help students get ahead in their college career. Summer classes start soon at Volunteer State Community College at McGavock High School and registration is open now. Evening classes will be held at McGavock High School during the summer session. There are also many online classes available from Vol State over the summer. Many students from other colleges, and those about to enter college, take Vol State classes while home for the summer. For a complete list of classes and meeting times visit www.volstate.edu/schedule. Summer classes start on May 31 and run through August 9.
The McGavock location is a degree granting center for Vol State, which means that students can take an entire degree program in Donelson, or take classes that will apply to other programs and degrees at the college. New students will need to apply to the college before enrolling. That can be done online at www.volstate.edu or in-person by visiting the Gallatin campus at 1480 Nashville Pike.
