Bluegrass and Barbecue are two things that go well together. On Thursday, June 14 Volunteer State Community College at Livingston will be combining the summer favorites with a practical purpose: to help students get registered for fall classes. The Bluegrass and Barbecue event is a fun way to get ready for the fall semester, and show students what the new and expanded Livingston campus has to offer. Students don’t have to register on that day. Registration will be open all summer. However, with increasing enrollment students are urged to register early to make sure they get the classes they want.
New students will need to apply to the college before they can register. That can be done online at www.volstate.edu or in-person at the campus. The Bluegrass and Barbecue Registration Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Livingston campus at 113 Windle Community Road. It is free and open to everyone. Call 931- 823-7065 for more information or toll free at 800-563-8220. Vol State at Livingston offers college classes and degree programs that can be used to enter a particular career field or to transfer to university.
