GED (General Educational Development) Test

• As of July 1, 2008, there will be a $20 No Show/Rescheduling Fee applicable to this exam.

• Applications for the GED Test are available in the Testing Office in the Wood Campus Center, Room 210, or by calling 615-230-3484.

• All applicants must complete the Official Practice Test through their local Adult Education Office before taking the test.

• The fee for the GED test is $65.00. Applicants must complete an application and submit a copy of a valid driver’s license (or other government-issued photo id) and the original report of the practice test results.

• The GED test is given at least twice monthly, but seats fill quickly, so applications need to be submitted well in advance.

• Results of the GED Test are available in approximately three to four weeks after testing.
