GED (General Educational Development) Test

As of July 1, 2008, there will be a $20 No Show/Rescheduling Fee applicable to this exam.

Applications for the GED Test are available in the Testing Office in the Wood Campus Center, Room 210, or by calling 615-230-3484.

All applicants must complete the Official Practice Test through their local Adult Education Office before taking the test.

The fee for the GED test is $65.00. Applicants must complete an application and submit a copy of a valid driver’s license (or other government-issued photo id) and the original report of the practice test results.

The GED test is given at least twice monthly, but seats fill quickly, so applications need to be submitted well in advance.

Results of the GED Test are available in approximately three to four weeks after testing.
