The Pioneers take excellence to heart, on the playing field and in the classroom.
You can check out basketball games (men’s and women’s teams) at the Pickel Field House. The baseball and softball teams have their own fields on either end of the campus. All you need is your student ID to get in free.
College is more than just classes. It’s a chance for you to explore. Student Life can help. There are usually more than 20 student groups active at Vol State. You can work on the “Settler” student newspaper or be a DJ at the radio station. Student government offers a chance to take an active role in campus leadership.
Life on campus can mean a quiet moment studying in a sunny corner, taking part in fall and spring festivals, watching movies on the library lawn, or laughing at a comedian in the auditorium. We post events on the front page of the web site and on our college blog.
