Custom Window Systems (aka MGM Industries) -

Job DescriptionJob Summary
Operates mechanical, electrical, hydraulic equipment (automatic, semiautomatic, and manual) to fabricate, finish, or package products.

Key Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Follow the Job Instruction Breakdowns (JIBs) for the job.
Handle materials to and from the production line.
Count, identify, and weigh materials as required.
Exercise safe work practices.
Maintain good housekeeping of area.
Maintain specific quality standards by performing all checks as required by the quality sampling standards.
Maintain production rates and strives to improve.
Complete all necessary paperwork and computer input as requested.
Use common hand tools, gauges, measuring devices, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment to perform job function.
Clean windows with cleaning solution
Read, understand, and respond to instructions.
Become skilled at identifying product names, codes, labels, ID numbers and associated components.
Perform running adjustments, perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment, complete standard setups/changeovers on equipment.
Work at different workstations and various departments as production needs require.
Utilize special handling equipment to aid in movement or positioning of materials.
Ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.
Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates.

Work Environment
Must be able to bend, lift, squat, twist, stand and move repetitively for 8-10 hours a day.
Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Work in various adverse conditions such as temperature to complete work assignments.
PPE Required: Steel-toed shoes, Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection on manufacturing floor.
Noise level in this work environment is moderate.
Must be able to work flexible hours at anytime.

Education and Certification Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Production experience preferred.

Company Description Custom Window Systems, Inc. (CWS) has been in business since 1986 and prides itself in producing high quality, American Made window and door products for both residential and commercial use. Our manufacturing plant and general offices are located in Ocala, Florida where we occupy a 225,000 sq. ft. facility built to our specifications in 2006. CWS produces both vinyl and aluminum window and door products which are distributed throughout the Southeastern part of the country. We maintain our own fleet of trucks and deliver to most markets in Florida twice a week and out-lying areas once a week. The CWS vinyl "WINDPACT" window has been designed and engineered for the stringent building requirements of the Florida market, meeting the high design pressures in most areas.
