Business and Technology Division

The University Parallel Associate of Science degree programs are designed for students who desire to earn a baccalaureate degree at a four-year college or university. Students may complete the first two years of course work at Vol State and then transfer the credits to a four-year college or university. The Business and Technology Division offers university parallel programs in the areas of Business Administration, Accounting, and Information Systems.

Career-vocational credit courses lead to industry-recognized certifications, technical certificates and Associate in Applied Science degrees. Supporting activities assist preparation for individuals seeking career entry, career-sustaining, career specialist, and career growth opportunities.

We provide advising for current and prospective students, and assist with scheduling. The Business and Technology Division also provides information on career-path considerations and help with cooperative work experience and job placement.
