Enrollment Management Committee

Committee Purpose

The purpose of the Enrollment Management Committee is to evaluate and recommend improvements to the College's policies and practices in the areas of student recruitment, admissions, orientation, advising, and registration. The committee coordinates its efforts with the appropriate campus units to facilitate the enrollment process.

Committee Activities

1. Evaluate the College's current policies and practices in student recruitment, and recommend improvements.

2. Provide support for the College's recruitment activities

a. Develop recruiting strategies to attract specific student populations.

b. Research new recruiting tools and recruiting methods.

3. Provide support for the College's admission and registration activities

a. Evaluate the College's current policies and practices in admission and registration processes, and recommend improvements.

b. Research new admission and registration tools and methods.

4. Provide support for orientation and advising activities

a. Evaluate the College's current policies and practices in orientation and advising, and recommend improvements.

b. Research new orientation and advising tools and methods.

1. Provide support for advisor training.

2. Develop and recommend appropriate retention initiatives to achieve institutional retention and persistence goals.

3. Reviews appropriate data in making informed recommendations.

4. Reviews, monitors, and makes recommendations to the Enrollment Management Plan.
