An introduction to computer security. Topics to be covered include authentication, network security topologies, intrustion detection, cryptography, and physical security. This course is designed to assist the student to take the CompTIA Security+ certification examination. PrerequisiteS:CIS 100 and CIS 194* or permission of instructor.
