If you are using a My VolState Online feature for course delivery this semester for
Complete online delivery or
Supplemental materials for a traditional or video course
You should back up and download the courses you used this semester.
Directions:
1. Choose “Manage Course” on the control panel”
2. Choose “create backup” under course functions (allow the system time to do this, there will not be an hour glass as is common under Microsoft products but you will get a “SUCCESS” message when the back up is created.
3. Choose “CONTINUE” (and wait till My VolState Online shows you the current list of backups …this could take awhile depending on your data speed determined by modem, service speed etc.
4. Choose the radio button (circle in front of course name and description) you want to use
5. Under back up file functions click the down arrow and choose “download” and click GO.
6. When prompted, select the location you wish to send the download (save).
7. This will be a zip file. You can later upload to the test server for further course development, editing, modification, etc. between terms or during the summer.
