Congratulations! You have been nominated by one of your students as having an Exemplary Distance Learning course. As chair of the Distance Learning committee, I would like to encourage you to complete the course analysis process. The Distance Learning committee will be working diligently this summer to review all submission packets and select the first Exemplary Distance Learning Course award recipient. The winner of this year’s award will participate on next year’s selection committee.

I have attached a copy of the course analysis and submission guidelines for your review. A website is being developed with an interactive form that will allow you to complete most of the submission process online.

Please send 1 “hard” copy of the completed packet to Mary Nunaley in the Distance Learning office.

• Submission deadline is May 21, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.
• The winner of the Exemplary Distance Learning Course Award will receive $1,000
• The Award is sponsored by US Lec (www.uslec.com)
