Fall 2008 Scheduled ESOL Classes (PDF)

VSCC offers English as a Second Language (ESOL) classes for non-native speakers of English. The college offers college-level classes in ESOL in intermediate-level and advanced-level English writing, in reading and vocabulary development, conversation, and in listening and speaking. The goals of these classes are to better prepare non-native students to succeed in the American college classroom. Call (615) 230-3201 for information.

ESOL classes are offered both as daytime and nighttime classes. They are conveniently located on the main campus in Gallatin, in Madison ( East Nashville area), and near Briley Parkway at McGavock High School in Nashville. For information in Spanish, please call (615) 230-3379.

In addition, the college offers classes in English for non-native speakers through the Continuing Education division. These non-credit classes are for high beginners who wish to improve their English for daily life and work.
