If you're considering college, you've already taken the first step. We're here to help you the rest of the way. Our goal at Vol State is to provide a high quality learning environment with the most flexible class options possible. We know flexibility is important to you. You're trying to juggle a job, a family and a life. We have a number of class options to help you fit college into your busy schedule. We have online classes in a wide range of subjects. We have hybrid classes that combine online and classroom work. Of course, we also offer a full range of traditional day, evening and weekend classes. You can find a complete list of everything we offer in our schedule of classes.

The key to learning is support. Vol State has developed several programs to help people build basic skills and overcome learning hurdles. Let's face it: many of us have trouble remembering math and grammar. Learning Support classes are computer based and allow you to work at your own speed. They can help you get up to speed quickly. We also have a full range of tutoring and support on campus in many subjects. We call these services collectively the College Success Zone. The goal is to help people find success in college and tackle the tough classes.

Computer skills are often another worry that people have when they are returning to school. We have basic computer classes that can help you grow those computer skills. If you're interested in building specific career skills in computing and business, or if you just want to find a new challenge in everything from Yoga to Dog Obedience, take a look at the wide variety of non-credit classes offered in our Continuing Education Division.
