A.A.S. - General Business Administration Management Concentration

This concentration is designed to prepare students for career advancement in the general area of management. Students are prepared to work in settings including human resource management, production, small business or non-profit organizational settings. Duties performed could include human resource assistant, supervision of a production environment or management of an area within a non-profit setting. Responsibilities a graduate could be expected to assume are represented by such titles as human resource assistant, production supervisor, department or unit manager.

Degree Advancement Program Agreement with MTSU

MTSU and Vol State have developed an AAS-to-BS program to allow students who earn an Associate of Applied Science in General Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Vol State to transfer the majority of those credits to MTSU toward the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. This degree is offered through MTSU's University College in cooperation with the Tennessee Board of Regents.
