"Vol State Presents" TV Show Debuts this Month

A new cable television show will introduce viewers to the visual and performing arts scene in Middle Tennessee. "Vol State Presents" is a 30 minute program highlighting artists and entertainers as they talk about their craft. The entertainment show focuses on how the performers and artisans honed their skills, and what training is necessary to achieve their level of success.

The pilot program, produced by the Gemini Production Group, has a variety of stories including pieces on the Nashville Shakespeare in the Park series, the role of a recording studio engineer, a profile of a wood carving artist and an interview with Bluegrass and Grand Ole Opry legend Jesse McReynolds. The show is hosted by Tucker Perry.

"Vol State Presents" will air on Comcast Channel 19 in Gallatin daily at 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. beginning Monday, November 15. It will run throughout the month of November.
