Ehlert Joins Vol State as Dean of Humanities

Alycia Ehlert is the new dean of humanities for Volunteer State Community College. She joins the college at the end of January to lead the largest academic division on campus. Ehlert was most recently Interim Dean of Humanities at Darton College in Albany, Georgia, where she taught for several years as assistant professor of communication. She has also held teaching positions at South Texas College, Western Michigan University and at public schools in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Ehlert has a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Georgia, a Master of Arts degree from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree, also from Western Michigan University.
