Registration is open for Vol State at Highland Crest in Springfield

Hundreds of people turned out for the ribbon cutting and open house event at the new Vol State at Highland Crest college campus in Springfield. The event marks the start of registration for the campus. Vol State will be offering 55 classes this coming fall semester at the campus. Classes start August 27. Registration is open now and new students will need to apply first.

The Highland Crest campus will be staffed during the summer, but as construction is still finishing Vol State will have limited staffing there until classes start. Vol State employees will be able to answer basic questions, and provide applications and other documents. Vol State Testing and Advising staff will be in Springfield for Thursdays during the summer, running from July 28 to August 18. Testing hours will be 9am-2:30pm on those days and Advising will be available from 9am-4:30pm. Students are encouraged to make appointments for those dates.
