Music is a big part of the holiday season and Volunteer State Community College students are ready to get people in the mood with the annual Christmas concert at the college, this year called "Sounds of the Season". The show will feature holiday classics, original student songs, and dance routines performed by the Vol State Showstoppers and the Commercial Music Ensemble. The concert also celebrates the release of the annual Christmas music CD spotlighting student performances. The concert will be held in the auditorium at Caudill Hall on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door. For $10 concert goers can get admission and a copy of the CD. Proceeds benefit music student scholarships. Vol State is located at 1480 Nashville Pike in Gallatin.
