Ten students in the Volunteer State Community College Early Childhood Education program have been chosen to receive $1000 scholarships from AT&T. The students are part of the Fast-Track program, which provides an accelerated pace to help students finish quickly. The certificate program can be completed in one year. Fast-Track programs also have extra student support and learning in a group environment. The students were chosen, in part, for the quality of essays they wrote about how they will benefit from the Fast-Track program.
