2013 Presidential Scholarship Recipients
Four area students have been awarded Presidential Academic Service Scholarships at Volunteer State Community College. All students who applied for private scholarships at Vol State were screened. Those chosen had a 26 or better on the ACT, a 3.50 high school GPA and met the March deadline. From this group the top five were selected. The scholarship provides $4,000 for the year. The students will work 75 hours with Vol State campus offices each semester.
