Presidential Search
The three finalists for president of Volunteer State Community College will have a series of receptions and interviews from February 28 to March 2. These campus-wide interviews are designed to give faculty, staff and students an opportunity to be not only involved in the process, but actively engaged with the candidates through questions and comments. Please note that there are two campus-wide interview sessions scheduled for each candidate. Anyone can attend the campus-wide interviews to ask questions and meet the candidates. Anyone can also attend the search committee interviews, but will not be able to ask questions, as that will be reserved for the committee. The only activities not open to everyone will be the direct report lunches and scheduled dinners. We have set up internet streaming for individuals who will not be able to attend the interview sessions in person and still want to watch and listen. Just click on the links below and follow the instructions. We are making plans for locations to watch or listen to the events in Livingston and Springfield, as well.
Alumni and community members are encouraged to attend the community and alumni receptions for each candidate. Vol State people are also welcome to attend those receptions.
We will be using the blue and white campus comment boxes to collect questions to be used in the campus-wide interviews. You can submit questions with your name or anonymously if you would prefer. The number of questions that can be addressed at each session will depend on the number received and the number of live questions asked during the forums. Those comment boxes are located in the following locations: Ramer (near Media Services), Wood (across from Student Services), Pickel (across from the vending area), Wallace (in the lobby), 300 building and in Livingston.

The selection of a new president is an important moment for the College. We hope that everyone will consider participating in the process.
