Wallace Named Vol State Public Relations Director

Tami Wallace has been named Director of Public Relations for Volunteer State Community College. Wallace comes most recently from Auburn University at Montgomery, where she was Director of Marketing for the Outreach Program. She handled advertising, promotions, special events and public relations, spanning six departments that make up the University outreach effort.
She began her career as an events publicist for Lake Lanier Islands Resort and continued in the field at Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta. She has also held marketing and public relations positions at Visionland Theme Park in Birmingham, Alabama and Ruby Falls in Chattanooga.
Wallace has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from Auburn University at Montgomery.
