Vol State summer classes at McGavock High School

Students can speed up their college work by taking summer courses. High school graduating seniors, current college students and new students can all benefit. Summer classes start soon at Volunteer State Community College at McGavock High School in Nashville and registration is open now.
Thirteen evening classes will be held at McGavock High School during the summer session. They include: Pre College Algebra, College Algebra, English Composition I & II, General Psychology, Introduction to Wellness and several levels of Learning Support Writing and Math. The McGavock location is a degree granting center for Vol State, which means students can take an entire degree program in Donelson, or take classes that will apply to other programs and degrees at the college. New students will need to apply to the college before enrolling. That can be done online or in-person. For more information call admissions at 615-230-3688.
