Registration Open for Spring Vol State Classes at Highland Crest

The spring semester will bring nearly 100 Volunteer State Community College classes to Highland Crest in Springfield. The classes apply to many different majors and programs. General education classes offered this spring include Human Anatomy and Physiology, Computer Applications, Math for Liberal Arts, English Composition, General Psychology, Music Appreciation and many others. Major-specific courses this fall include Medical Terminology, Introduction to Respiratory Care, First Aid and Safety CPR, and Applied Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology. Vol State offers classes at Highland Crest during the day, in the evening and online. New evening offerings this spring will include math and speech courses. Classes start January 17.
New students will need to apply to the college before they can register for classes. Applications can be done online at www.volstate.edu or in person at the Highland Crest campus. The College is located at 150 Laureate Avenue, just south of NorthCrest Medical Center, off of Highway 431 and Billy Batson Parkway.
